Calcium is also necessary for nerve and muscle. If levels of calcium in the body decreases, the nerves become sensitized and muscles become very tense. Therefore there is a feeling of tingling or spasms felt in some parts of the body, especially in the large muscles in the leg. But far more important is the calcium in heart muscle. When calcium in the blood flow is reduced, then the heart will quickly lose energy, become irregular, or even stopped altogether.

Calcium is important for health. To stay healthy we should be possessed of food that contain calcium in the diet daily.
